ROTARACT CLUB OF COIMBATORE TEXCITY
has a legacy from RI District 3200 to 3201 was started in the year 2007 with the motto of “self-development and fellowship through service” still gleams with the same and equal pride. The club was chartered on 29th October 2008, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Texcity. Adding a feather to its crown, PDRR.Rtr.CVR.karthikeyan from Rotaract club of Coimbatore Texcity served as the Second DRR of RI District 3201. Currently, it is under the leadership of Rtr. Maikchelraj as the President. It belongs to Rotary International District 3201, Zone 5 in South Asia, and Group 2 in the District.

FAQ : Frequently Asked Questions
“Rotaract” stands for “Rotary in Action”, although the name originally comes from a combination of “Rotary” and “Interact” (International + Action), the high school level program created by Rotary International in 1962.
Rotaract facts and firsts: The name “Rotaract” is a blend of the words “Rotary” and “action.” The unofficial Rotaract motto is Fellowship Through Service. Interota is the only Board-recognized triennial Rotaract conference.
Q: What’s the difference between Rotaract and Rotary? A: Mainly the age factor. Rotaract is for young professionals between the ages of 21 and 35 years old. Once you are in Rotaract and turn 35, you can then join a nearby Rotary Club and some of our members are in both!
If you’re a young professional, at least 18 years old, you may be interested in joining a Rotaract club.
Rotaract clubs bring together people ages 18 and older to exchange ideas with leaders in the community, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through service. In communities worldwide, Rotary and Rotaract members work side by side to take action through service.
